Amsterdam Noord to Hotel de Goudfazant

We had another great day in Holland / Amsterdam Noord.  After presenting at the Rotary lunch we toured an industrial area turned community arts space called Stork with Rotarian and project manager Mischa.  What previously housed an engine and industrial equipment manufacturer now houses a restaurant, dance academy, cultural industry office space, and artist workshops.
Rotarians Jaap and Hans provided us with a guided commentary of the established community of Nieuwendam before hosting us for dinner at the Hotel de Goudfazant restaurant.
After an incredible dinner experience the evening before at the Eye restaurant, we had another incredible culinary experience.  Also facing the IJ river, Hotel de Goudfazant is set in an industrial space that retains all of it's previous workplace accoutrements.  There remain various late model (seemingly abandoned) luxury cars kept in corners or still positioned on the original repair hoists.  The serving staff was eager and attentive and the variety of novel choices and food quality was superb.

Here we are in our matching uniforms at a gathering before the Rotary lunch.
