Dam Square Rememberance ceremony

Two minutes of silence are observed at 8pm every May 4 to remember the fallen since 1940.  Whether it's at Dam square during the official ceremony or at a restaurant, it is seen as a serious event each year.

There was definately an interest in seeing the new king at the event.  There were wispers of "the king" by children in the crowd.  There was a movement of the crowd and the unsheathing of cameras as he passed toward the monument ceremony.  The children involved in placing flowers after the wreath laying were also distracted by the new king's presence and were smiling gleefully while stealing a glance during their official duties.
