After some tea and coffee, we made a trip to the regional water works "PWN" to learn about how nature and machines produce drinking water for residents. Water is pumped from a former area of ocean that is now a fresh water lake to a dune based wilderness park. The water then filters through the sand and is pumped through an advanced technology filtration and distribution system to end users.
We then went to a tulip themed Dutch cultural gardens park called Keukenhof.
Tom was also able to meet one of his long lost Dutch relatives..... :-)
